Choosing a name for a newborn is often quite difficult. Some parents decide to follow family traditions, while others try to find an unusual and memorable name. Some stars come up with extraordinary names with a unique backstory behind them.

In February 2022, Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney had a son. The actress revealed the child’s name 6 months later. The parents named the boy Cy after Cy Twombly, an American painter of whom Cooke Maroney is a fan.

Rap singer Jeezy and stylist Jeannie Mai named their daughter Monaco. The spouses explained that this town played a key role in their lives, as they were in Monaco when they decided to become a family.

Rhodes Robert Hedlund

When Emma Roberts and Garret Hedlund were expecting a baby, they agreed that Emma would pick the name if it was a girl, and Garret would pick the name if it was a boy. So when they had a boy, Hedlund chose the name Rhodes because he loves road trips.

Dawson Demitri Haibon

TV stars Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon named their firstborn son Dawson after their favorite character from Titanic, played by Leonardo DiCaprio.

Actress Ashley Tisdale has always liked the name Jupiter. So, she decided to name her child Jupiter even before she got pregnant. It could be a name for both a girl or a boy, so it seemed like a perfect option. Ashley’s husband Christopher French supported the idea. French came up with “Iris” as Jupiter’s middle name.

Singer Eve and her husband Maximillion Cooper were unable to have a child for a long time. At one point, Eve thought she didn’t deserve to be a mother. She was incredibly happy when her son was born. The boy was named Wilde Wolf Fife Alexander Somers Cooper. The name Wilde has German roots, and it means hunter.

Actor Wilmer Valderrama and his wife Amanda revealed the name of their daughter one month after she was born. The girl was named Nakano Ocean Valderrama. Amanda says that this name reminds her of the beautiful trip she and Wilmer took which led to the birth of their first child.

So, officially, their child is still called Wolf Webster, and they don’t know when they are going to change it.
