The love life of the Hollywood star started quite late. In one of her interviews, Rebel Wilson said she was unlucky in her love affairs, so she decided to spend all of her time and effort on self-development and her career.

“It’s not an exaggeration to say no one was really interested in dating me, especially in my 20s,” the actress said. “I had a snaggle tooth. I was a catch if people really got to know me, but there was nobody really interested. But in a way, that allowed me to not only have this amazing career and come up out of Australia, out of nowhere and get two degrees and then come to America and crush it. Would I have been able to do that if I had a serious relationship? Probably in my love life, I was meant to be a late bloomer anyways.”

The actress had her first relationship when she was 35

Wilson’s first serious relationship started when she was 35. In 2015, the actress dated comedian Mickey Gooch Jr. But the didn’t last long: in September that year, they broke up. “Rebel told him she didn’t want to continue with the relationship if she didn’t see it moving any further than where it is now — and Mickey agreed.”

When Rebel was 40, she started dating businessman Jacob Bush. The actress’ friends and family said they had never seen her happier. These 2 seemed like a perfect couple, and they were together for over a year, but they broke up in February 2021.

Now, Rebel is happy with Ramona

In June 2022, Rebel Wilson shocked all of her fans. It turned out that at the age of 42, the actress finally met her soulmate. Wilson posted a photo on her Instagram with clothes designer Ramona Agruma. She wrote, “I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince... but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess.”

The first time Ramona and Rebel appeared in public together was a Vanity Fair party at the end of March.
And in May, Wilson said that she was happily in a relationship, but nobody could guess that she meant her friend.

Wilson and Agruma met thanks to mutual friends. According to the actress, Ramona and her had a long conversation on the phone, “We spoke on the phone for weeks before meeting. And that was a really good way to get to know each other. It was a bit old-school in that sense — very romantic.”

Wilson’s family and friends say that the actress is incredibly happy. And Rebel herself proves it and says that an equal and harmonious relationship is great.

“I think going through the process of finding more self-worth, I think that what you want in a partner is elevated and so it’s great to have someone who feels like an equal partner and be in a healthy relationship,” the actress tells. “There were times — I’m not saying with all my exes, they’re great — but there were some times that I was probably putting up with that I shouldn’t have. So it feels different to be in a really healthy relationship.”
