10 Famous Beauties Who Revived Haute Couture Outfits From the Past

Recently, we’ve been seeing more and more vintage outfits at red carpet events. It seems that celebrities are choosing to show off clothes from past designer collections or even archival pieces. According to a fashion expert, the vintage trend is gaining momentum because vintage allows celebrities to be glamorous and celebrate beautiful designs from the past.

At CHEERY, we studied the photo reports of red carpet events of the last decade, as well as fashion archives, to find vintage outfits worn by famous modern beauties. In the bonus section, we’ll show you how Zendaya revived an outfit from Todd Oldham’s archive.

Lady Gaga is a big fan of vintage outfits. She attracts attention from the public even when walking out of a hotel. While preparing for her New York City show in 2021, the singer often teased the public with her extravagant looks. Once she honored Jean Paul Gaultier by wearing a 1997 pinstripe suit by this designer.

At the 2018 Oscars, actress Rita Moreno appeared on the red carpet wearing the same dress she wore when she won an Oscar in 1962. The dress was slightly changed in the silhouette and neckline, which became strapless. The collar necklace and large earrings made the outfit modern and powerful.
