17 Talented Models That Are Changing the World of Fashion and Making It More Diverse Right in Front of Us

Currently, design houses and brands are making small but important steps toward representation. Shoe ads, magazine covers, and advertising campaigns are now including people of different religions, sizes, and shapes. In 2021, Lila Moss appeared on the runway with an insulin pump on her hip. Kate Moss’ daughter suffers from Type 1 diabetes, and is not too shy to talk about it.

Nyle DiMarco is a deaf model and activist. In 2015, he was the winner of America’s Next Top Model. 2 years later, he was named Deaf Person of the Year by DEAF LIFE.
