How Sylvester Stallone Turned Out Not to Be Stern Boxer Rocky but a Gentle and Loving Father

Sylvester Stallone often appears on the red carpet with his wife and 3 daughters. He often posts photos of himself and his children together on his Instagram and spares no words of endearment for his girls. But Stallone’s true fans know that his path to family bliss has not been an easy one: the actor is now married to his third wife.

In 1988, Stallone met model Jennifer Flavin. By then he had been through 2 divorces. The lovers dated for about 9 years until the actor decided to propose. Once married, the couple had 3 daughters: Sophia, Sistine, and Scarlet.

The father was always ready to make time for the girls.

For example, he could easily keep Sistine company, as she loves horseback riding. It could well be that she inherited her passion for this activity from her father. Stallone says he adores horseback riding — it helps him to calm down and manage his stress.

Stallone posts cute childhood photos.

For his daughters’ birthdays, the actor often posts on Instagram photos of Sophia, Sistine, and Scarlet from different years of their lives. In these pictures, the girls are hugging their father and mother, playing golf with them, or simply posing for the camera with a smile on their faces.

He genuinely rejoices in his children’s achievements.

The actor once shared a picture of his eldest daughter Sophia, which captured the moment of her graduation. The girl graduated from the University of Southern California and became a fashion industry major.

The middle sister doesn’t fall behind either. In 2016, Sistine signed a contract with the international agency IMG Models and modeled for a Chanel fashion show. In the same year, her photos were featured in the July issue of Glamour magazine, and later, on the cover of Elle.

Sistine, at the age of 24, has already made a name for herself as an actress. She made her film debut in the horror film 7 Meters Down: Uncaged, directed by Johannes Roberts.

The actor is not offended by jokes and sometimes plays pranks on his daughters himself.

Sylvester Stallone can easily post a photo on his Instagram, in which of one of his daughters is making “ears” behind his back. And once, he persuaded his middle daughter to let a big spider crawl up her arm for a while. “Sometimes it’s hard to make new friends,” the actor commented on the post.

The father inspires his daughters through his example.

He’s Rocky Balboa, the star of the movie franchise about a boxer who rose from nothing and achieved unheard-of success in his business. By the way, Stallone himself wrote the script for the first Rocky film. So he advises his daughters too, to never give up and firmly withstand life’s various blows.

He helps them to take their first steps in their film careers.

Despite her young age, Scarlet, Stallone’s youngest daughter, has already appeared in films several times. In 2014, she had a minor role in the crime film Reach Me, and in 2022, she was invited to take part in an episode of the series Tulsa King. In both cases, she worked on the same set as her father.

The actor sometimes tries to remember how to braid hair.

He once tried to help with his middle daughter’s hairdo. She was celebrating her 20-first birthday at the time. However, afterward, he immediately confessed to his followers: “I’m the world’s worst hairdresser.”

The girls, in turn, take care of their father.

One day, they decided it was time for him to take a little break from his diet and treat himself to something tasty. Stallone took a picture of the table that Sophia, Sistine, and Scarlet set up for him and wrote about it on his blog: “A wonderful all-encompassing ’cheat meal’ prepared by my wonderful daughters. I plan to work this off a little later in the day, I hope.”

The Stallone family enjoys celebrating together.

Sylvester, Jennifer, and their daughters usually celebrate “with a bang.” On Halloween, the eldest daughter dressed up as Lara Croft, and Stallone jokingly called himself “some strange bodyguard lurking in the background.”

And once, for Easter, the whole family wore multi-colored bunny ears and took a joint photo. A little later, the actor, without taking off the “ears,” called his colleague Arnold Schwarzenegger and also wished him a happy holiday.
