You probably don’t recognize him, but Josh is the one who brought Thanos to the big screen in The Avengers saga. It is well known that the Marvel villain and the famous singer are very close.

2. Emily and Zooey Deschanel are sisters and their parents are also famous.

Mary Jo, the actresses’ mother, has appeared in series like Twin Peaks and House M.D.. Meanwhile, Caleb Deschanel is a successful cinematographer who has won 6 Oscars for Best Cinematography.

3. Emily Blunt is Stanley Tucci’s sister-in-law

7. Rashida Jones is the daughter of Quincy Jones.

Rashida Jones is the daughter of musician and composer Quincy Jones, who holds 28 Grammy Awards, which are proof of her undoubted talent. However, Rashida did not follow in her father’s footsteps since she was more interested in acting than singing. The actress gained her popularity thanks to the role of Karen Filippelli on the CBS’ sitcom The Office and also has a Grammy for her work on the documentary Quincy.

8. Sam Waterston and Katherine Waterston are father and daughter.

Katherine Waterston’s career has probably been influenced by her father. Sam is best known for playing prosecutor Jack McCoy in Law & Order, but has acted in many different types of productions. Katherine, who joined the Harry Potter universe by bringing Tina to life in the Fantastic Beasts saga, has followed in her father’s footsteps on the big and small screen.

9. Hugh Grant and Rick Cosnett are cousins

Rick Cosnett is best known for his roles in the TV series “The Vampire Diaries” and “The Flash”. The actor was born in Zimbabwe and grew up in Australia. But, unexpectedly, Cosnett turned out to be a cousin of famous British actor Hugh Grant. In his interview Rick mentioned: “Not that close, he’s my third cousin. It was always our claim to fame, growing up in the middle of nowhere, in Zimbabwe. Even before Hugh Grant was famous, we were like, ’Oh, our cousin was in a magazine.’”

10. Michael Douglas is the son of Kirk Douglas

11. Ariel Winter is the sister of Jimmy Workman

Actress Ariel Winter is best known for playing Alex Dunphy on ABC’s hit series, Modern Family. She, like her older brother, Jimmy Workman, became a child star. Although Jimmy has not returned to work in front of the camera, you may remember him as Pugsley, Morticia and Homer’s son in The Addams Family.

12. Mark Ronson is Meryl Streep’s son-in-law
