It Took Kaley Cuoco a Long Time to Find Love, but She Finally Met Her Soulmate and Now They’re Expecting a Baby

Just like her character Penny from The Big Bang Theory, Kaley Cuoco had little luck in her love life for a long time. It seemed that no matter how hard the actress tried to build a relationship, the result was always the same. But Kaley didn’t give up and, after taking some time to focus on herself, she finally met her soulmate. What’s more, recently, the couple delighted fans with another piece of good news.

Kaley’s love life has never been simple.

The role of Penny in The Big Bang Theory didn’t just bring Kaley Cuoco international fame but also love. From day one, she was captivated by her on-screen partner, Johnny Galecki. Soon the actors realized that they just couldn’t fight their mutual attraction.

Johnny insisted that their affair be kept secret, while Kaley found it difficult to hide. As a result, this, among other reasons, led to their breakup. Nevertheless, they continued to keep in touch. Kaley and Johnny still care a lot about each other, Galecki even feels that their friendship is the most precious relationship in his life. Johnny has always been supportive of Kaley and sat in the front row at both of her weddings.

The actress’ next relationship developed very quickly.

An acquaintance once suggested that Kaley Cuoco go on a blind date with the famous tennis player Ryan Sweeting. The pair were so enamored with each other that Ryan moved in with Kaley the very next day. And after three months of romance, they were married.

Sadly, Kaley and Ryan’s union lasted less than two years. The couple didn’t publicize the reasons for their divorce, but Kaley took the breakup hard. She later confessed that Ryan wasn’t the man she thought she had married. For a while, the actress didn’t even think she would dare to get married again because Sweeting had ruined the very meaning of the word for her.

After the breakup, she decided to look for love with the help of dating apps.

Kaley’s divorce and public discussion of her relationship took a toll on her, making her stop dating other celebrities. Cuoco no longer wanted her private life to be in front of cameras, so she tried to find happiness through dating apps.

According to those who know her, the actress even went on a couple of dates using her friend’s account. But she met her chosen one by chance at a horse show.

Kaley’s second marriage was unusual.

Cuoco was happy and in love. She and her new boyfriend, Karl Cook, shared many common interests. But, having learned from her bitter experience, Kaley was in no hurry to move in together. In 2018, the couple tied the knot but carried on living apart for two more years while their new home was being built.

In 2021, the pair announced their divorce. Cuoco and Cook didn’t reveal the reasons that led them to part ways but noted that the decision was mutual, and they came to it without anger or accusations. Nonetheless, Kaley admitted that the experience put her off marriage for good. The actress remarked, “I will never get married again. I would love to have a long-lasting relationship or a partnership. But I will never get married again. Absolutely not.”

She fell in love with Tom Pelphrey at first sight.

Kaley met Tom Pelphrey at the premiere of the TV series Ozark. The idea to introduce them came from the actress’ manager, who thought they would be perfect for each other. And so they were; as soon as Cuoco glanced at the handsome stranger, she felt like her soul was lifted by angels. It seemed to her that she and Tom had known each other all their lives, but only now finally got to meet.

Kaley believes that they met at the perfect time.

Cuoco admits that, if she and Tom had met even a week earlier, it might not have worked out so well. After the second divorce, the actress was having a very hard time and later noted that it was the most difficult year of her life. But it was precisely these difficulties that made Kaley turn inward and try to work on herself. So, she and Pelphrey found each other at just the right time, and everything worked out perfectly.

Recently, the couple announced that they’re expecting a baby.

In October, Kaley and Tom were delighted to announce that they’re expecting their first child. Baby girl Pelphrey will be born in 2023. Back in 2016, Kaley noted with amazement that she was absolutely certain she would have had children by then. But fate decided otherwise, and the actress devoted her main efforts to her career.

But now Kaley and Tom are overjoyed. On her Instagram, the actress wrote, “Beyond blessed and over the moon. I love you, Tommy Pelphrey!!!” To which Tom replied in his post, “And then it was even more better. Love you more than ever.”
