10+ Actors Who Stopped Appearing in Films, And Now We Miss Them Greatly

Retirement, a well-deserved break from many years of work, is perceived differently by everyone. Some are excited to finally have time for their favourite hobbies, while others find themselves at a loss without their work routine. Celebrities are no exception. As sad as it may be for us, actors and actresses at the height of their fame bravely take time out of work, and sometimes end their careers entirely to pursue a different passion.

Here at CHEERY, we’re sure they’ll be successful in whatever they put their mind to, whether it’s their passion for creativity, business, or simply a respite from fame, spotlights and cameras. But as a bonus, we’ve included a story of a star who has changed her mind about retiring and is preparing to dazzle us with a new role.

In recent years, the former actress has published books about healthy living and actively invested in start-ups with similar goals. Diaz’s last film was released in 2014, but this hiatus is set to be broken soon, as Jamie Foxx has announced that he is preparing to star alongside Cameron in a new action comedy in 2022.
