Before important events, celebrities and stylists can’t make mistakes in foundation and face contouring. But it’s important to apply the product not only on the face and neck but also on the ears. Cameras watch their every move, and the smallest mistakes will go viral the next day. Ear sculpturing is a significant makeup step. Check out Kylie Jenner, for example.

Tape and braids

Not all celebrities get surgeries to lift their faces. Some do it themselves or by asking a hairdresser. For example, Naomi Campbell uses special tape. But you should know that you can’t use this method very often because there is a risk of deforming the skin and achieving the opposite effect.

Another celebrity that learned to lift her face in non-invasive ways is Barbra Streisand. She lifts her face with thin braids. They are made from hair that is on the same level as the eyebrows and then tied on the back of the head. And then you style the hair the way you need.

Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is another procedure to prepare the skin for makeup. It’s cleansing the skin with a special device like a razor. It’s used to remove dead skin cells, along with (peach fuzz) giving clients an immediate luminous glow. This is what Cardi B does.

Sunscreen contouring

When contouring became trendy, there was a huge splash on the beauty product market. The palettes, needed for it, were selling like hotcakes. And Beyoncé’s makeup artist uses a completely different method, contouring her face with sunscreen. First, 15 or 20 SPF is applied on the entire skin, and 50-80 is added around the eyes, the nose, and on the chin. This is both makeup and sun protection.

Stars are ordinary people like us. They also sweat and become dirty. So, to avoid awkward situations, they use life hacks. For example, David Beckham’s stylist applies dry shampoo in the middle of his back. This is why, even when he is hot, there are no wet stains on his clothes.

To make the outfits look perfect and not cause any discomfort, you should be in good shape. Diet expert Rachel Beller recommends her clients, for example, Laura Dern, to drink fennel tea 5 days before an important event. It prevents bloating.

Cut tights

To make a dress or a skirt look good in motion rather than not, celebrity stylist Cassey Sawhill shares a simple recommendation. Cut off the legs of your tights and wear them like shorts. The dress or skirt fabric will not stick and move easily. This is especially important if you are wearing light silk dresses.

The actress from Safe Heaven has a gorgeous smile, and aside from visiting a dentist, there’s another habit behind it. Julianne Hough brushes her teeth with turmeric, like with toothpaste, and then washes it off. Even though turmeric is yellow, the enamel remains white.

Another tip from stars’ stylists is shapewear. And it’s not used to hide extra pounds, but to make clothes beautifully slide on the body. Here are some stars that wear it: Karlie Kloss, Padma Lakshmi, Katy Perry, Rita Ora, and others.

To make your hair look smooth and shiny, celebrity stylists recommend using oils and serums. The Jenner and Hadid sisters do it. But you should also apply the product correctly — rub it in your palms to heat it and get into the hair structure deeper.

And Cardi B recently surprised her subscribers when she told that she used oil broth to make her hair smooth.
