Famous actors, models, and other kinds of celebrities attend a lot of events and they have to look stunning at each of them. No wonder every celebrity has different tricks which help them spend as little time as possible getting ready and avoid fashion mistakes.

At CHEERY, we decided to sneak a peek into the life of celebrities and figure out what tricks we can adopt for ourselves.

The Duchess always has to look impeccable to comply with royal etiquette. Some formal events require her hair to be neat and nice. If so, Kate uses a thin hairnet that matches the shade of her hair and lets her hairstyle stay flawless for as long as possible.

2. Margot Robbie uses a toothbrush to apply foundation.

According to the actress, due to the fact that she has blonde hair but tanned skin, you can see the foundation on her hair if it hasn’t been blended, and it doesn’t look nice at all. A friend taught her a simple trick, which is to use a toothbrush to apply foundation into her hairline so that it all blends.

“I do that every single day, and every time my husband sees it, he says, ’Girls are crazy’,” Margot Robbie laughs.

3. Cameron Diaz uses eye drops to get rid of pimples on her face.

In her health guide The Body Book, the actress openly revealed that she was unhappy with her skin and felt really uncomfortable when she was in front of close-up cameras. Cameron Diaz tried taking many pills and medicinal ointments, as well as covering imperfections with makeup, but nothing helped.

Eventually, the actress found her own way to fight acne—she applies eye drops to pimples. The celebrity found that this remedy takes away the redness and swelling of acne. Of course, this unusual method is not suitable for everyone, but Diaz loves it.

4. Kim Kardashian tapes her breasts.

The celebrity blew up the Internet by posting a photo where she sports duct tape on her chest. Thanks to this trick, you can create the perfect neckline even in the most revealing dresses.

According to stylist Toni Ferrara, who’s worked with Kim, Scarlett Johansson, Ashley Benson, and other celebrities, she’s taped almost every body part. “You can make strapless bras and corsets with tape. It’s a miracle worker for low cut, backless, and strapless gowns,” she says.

5. Emma Stone uses grapeseed oil to moisturize her skin.

The actress uses natural grapeseed oil as a moisturizer. According to her, she is allergic to a lot of stuff, so she has to carefully choose her skin care products. Natural grapeseed oil from a regular grocery store doesn’t irritate her skin, so she applies it after every shower.

“There is one side effect though,” Emma Stone says, “I pretty much smell like grape all the time.

6. John Cena sandpapers the bottom of his shoes.

Falling on the red carpet is not uncommon among celebrities. John Cena’s stylist Jasmine Caccamo has found a way to avoid this embarrassing situation. “I usually sandpaper the bottom of my clients’ shoes because the red carpet can get a little bit slippery with the type of carpet they use. It guarantees that they won’t slip and fall and have a big wardrobe malfunction,” she revealed.

7. Miranda Kerr curls her eyelashes with a spoon.

Even if you don’t have an eyelash curler at hand, use this trick by Miranda Kerr. To make her eyelashes curl, she uses an ordinary metal spoon. After applying mascara, she presses her eyelashes between her thumb and the spoon — and done! The result is as good as when using an eyelash curler.

8. Sandra Bullock uses hemorrhoids cream as an eye cream.

According to the actress, applying this cream under the eyes is one of her main beauty secrets. The cream helps her fight swelling and wrinkles. There are several reasons why it works the way it does. The main purpose of hemorrhoids cream is to constrict blood vessels and therefore reduce inflammation and swelling.

Dermatologist Hadley King confirmed that the cream can be potentially helpful for under-eye bags, but warned that you should use it carefully and prevent it from getting into your eyes.

9. Kate Hudson takes ice baths.

A professional stylist who has worked with dozens of celebrities recommended the actress a universal way to deal with dull complexion and signs of fatigue. According to Kate, she regularly fills a bowl with water and ice, sticks her face in it, and tries to hold on as long as possible.

“How long? It depends how badly I want it,” Kate smiles.

10. Beyoncé styles her eyebrows with a glue stick.

To make bushy eyebrows look perfect even in the hot and humid weather, the usual styling gel may not be enough. Beyoncé’s makeup artist Sir John has found an unconventional solution to the problem: he uses a regular glue stick. According to him, it doesn’t clog pores and can be easily washed off.

11. Meghan Markle wears shoes that are too big for her.

You might have probably noticed this unusual detail in Meghan’s impeccable outfits. She often wears shoes that are a size or even two bigger. Fashion editor Harriet Davey explained that this trick is used not only by Meghan Markle but also by many other celebrities. They do this to avoid blisters on their feet when they have to spend a lot of time wearing heels.

And to avoid any slipping, stylists add a silicone pad to the pumps or simply use double-sided tape.
