10+ Hidden Details in Movies and Series That Only the Most Attentive Viewers Will Notice
When we watch a movie for the first time, we usually follow the main storyline and sympathize with the main heroes. But it’s worth watching most good movies at least one more time to find the answers to some unclear moments and hidden messages.
Twilight
At the beginning of the movie, Bella has a boyish style and wears baggy jackets and shirts. But after Bella falls for Edward, she begins to wear more feminine outfits. It was the idea of costume designers to show the character development this way.
And there is another interesting fact. It’s about the scene where Edward is holding an apple in his palms. The moviemakers decided to refer to the Twilight book cover in this way.
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
Did you ever wonder where Ginny got Tom Riddle’s diary from? You can find the answer by looking closely at the scene where the Malfoy family meets the main heroes in the bookstore. Lucius Malfoy grabs the textbook from Ginny’s cauldron, condemns its look, then puts it back. But in reality, he put 2 books in instead of one, and no one noticed this.
Titanic
In one of the scenes, we can see an ordinary man walking on the deck with his wife. In reality, it’s not just a background actor but Edward Kamuda, a historian who devoted much of his life to the preservation of the Titanic’s legacy. When James Cameron started the production of the movie, Kamuda helped him as a consultant. As a thank you, the film director cast Kamuda and his wife as extras in the film.
Goodfellas
In this scene, Robert De Niro is counting real money. The actor didn’t like the way fake money felt in his hands, so the prop master gave him his own money. As a safety measure, no one was allowed to leave the set until all the money was returned and counted.
Inception
The girl who led the movie characters through the labyrinth of dreams and brought them back to reality was named Ariadne after the character of the same name in Greek mythology. At the beginning of the movie, Ariadne wears inconspicuous gray clothes in the real world, and inside dreams, she’s dressed in red. Perhaps this refers to the red thread that was given to Theseus by Ariadne and that helped him to find his way out of the labyrinth of Minotaur.

Dr. Grace’s avatar wears a top that says Stanford for a reason. Sigourney Weaver, who played this character, studied at Stanford University. So, it’s a nod to the actress’s biography.
It Chapter Two
Pay attention to the back side of the skateboard, it has quite a familiar pattern which we know from the movie The Shining. It’s not difficult to guess the reason for why this was done. Both movies are based on Stephen King’s novels.
Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

Black Panther is also armed with vibranium which can damage the shield made of the same material.
No Time to Die
The streets of the Italian town where James Bond and his followers raced were covered with Coca-Cola. This was done to make cobblestone streets less slippery. 8,400 gallons of Coca-Cola were sprayed on the streets which cost approximately $70,000. However, this was almost nothing compared to the movie budget of $250 million.
La La Land
The famous dance in the midst of a traffic jam at the beginning of the movie was shot in 48 hours at temperatures above 100°F. But the actors also had to rehearse for 6+ hours. Dance choreographer Mandy Moore even had to hide under one of the cars from where she shouted instructions to the dancers. This was done to prevent the choreographer from being caught on the overhead camera.
House of the Dragon
The introduction to House of the Dragon schematically depicts the Targaryen genealogical tree. As fans of the series have guessed, each symbol that appears during the credits can be matched to the corresponding family member, starting with Aegon I. In episode 1, Damon gives Rhaenyra a necklace with an image similar to the one we see in the intro. This is a way for the series creators to hint at what’s to come — if that necklace is the heroine’s symbol, then obviously Damon is very important to her. And indeed, in episode 7, they get married.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier
In the shot, we can see an arrow pendant around Natasha Romanoff’s neck. This is a reference to her close friendship with Avengers teammate Clint Barton, also known as Hawkeye.
