During public events, celebrities are visible to hundreds of people and dozens of journalists. This is why even the slightest problem or an awkward move becomes the main topic of conversation in the media the following day. Some stars step on their own dresses and almost fall or their outfits unzip at the worst possible time. And we really admire the way they handle these situations.

We at CHEERY remembered the awkward mishaps that happened to the stars during red carpet events and were amazed by how they coped with them.

1. On the premiere of And Just Like That (the new chapter of Sex and the City), Sarah Jessica Parker’s purse handle broke, but she just picked it up and kept walking.

2. Hailee Steinfeld looked amazing in her transparent dress with flowers during the Oscars, even though the seam was a little torn.

3. On the red carpet of the 62nd Cannes Film Festival, Elizabeth Banks’ dress unzipped but she kept on posing.
