The role of Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games rose Jennifer to new heights of fame. The actress became popular not only in the US but also all over the world. But fame had something else in store too. In 2014, Lawrence’s privacy was violated. Some bad people hacked her cloud storage. Jennifer says that this trauma will stay with her till the end of her life.

Jennifer’s first real love was Nicholas Hoult. They met on set of the superhero movie X-Men: First Class. Due to their busy schedules, they had an on-and-off relationship for a few years. And after breaking up, Hoult and Lawrence remained friends.

She found a soulmate outside the movie world.

Jennifer met her soulmate, with whom she wanted to form a family, through a common friend in 2018. Her chosen one is art gallerist, Cooke Maroney. Their relationship developed rapidly, and the couple got married in October 2019. “He’s my best friend, so I want to legally bind him to me forever. And fortunately, the paperwork exists for such a thing. It’s the greatest. You find your favorite person on the planet and you’re like you can’t leave. So I wanted to take that offer.”

Even though the press wasn’t allowed at her wedding, it’s known that the bride wore a Dior gown. Among the 150 guests were singer Adele, comedian Amy Schumer, and reality show celebrity Kris Jenner. The event took place at an old mansion in Newport, Rhode Island, which had been designed in 1894 by renowned American architect Richard Morris Hunt.

She had 2 miscarriages before becoming a mother.

Jennifer played the role of a mother in movies many times, but she herself became one only in February 2022. The parents named their son Cy, after American painter Cy Twombly, who is one of Maroney’s favorite artists. According to Jennifer, motherhood made their marriage even stronger, “My heart has stretched to a capacity that I didn’t know about. I include my husband in that. And then they’re both just, like, out there—walking around, crossing streets.”

In an interview, Lawrence was frank enough to speak about her miscarriages. Jennifer revealed that she had her first miscarriage when she was in her twenties, and she didn’t plan to keep this baby. Her second miscarriage happened while she was filming the movie Don’t Look Up. And this pregnancy was planned.

She returned to movies as a producer after the break.

Pregnancy and childbirth made Jennifer go on hiatus for a short period, but she continued to attend red-carpet events and promote her movies on TV. And now she’s fully returned.

Her first movie after having a son was Causeway, which was filmed for Apple TV. Jennifer’s character returns home after suffering a serious injury while stationed overseas and must confront the family she left behind. This indie drama was produced by Lawrence personally. It became the first big project of her own production company.

Which of her movies is your favorite? Do you like to see her in independent movies or in blockbusters?
